Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and PakiBaat ("PakiBaat", "we", "us") for the use of the PakiBaat app and pakibaat.com. By creating an account or using PakiBaat, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PakiBaat.
Who can use PakiBaat
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
- You may have only one account, and it must represent you, a real person.
- You must not have been convicted of a sexual or violent offence, and you must not have been removed from PakiBaat before.
Your account
Keep your details accurate and your email account and password secure, because sign-in codes are sent to your email. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at support@pakibaat.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
Community guidelines
PakiBaat is for people looking for genuine connections, so be kind, honest and respectful. You must not:
- Harass, threaten, bully, stalk or intimidate anyone, or keep contacting someone who has asked you to stop.
- Post hateful content or discriminate against anyone because of religion, caste, community, gender, sexuality, disability or background.
- Share nudity, sexually explicit or violent content, or anything involving a minor.
- Ask for or offer money, gifts, investments or financial details, or run any kind of scam.
- Advertise, sell, recruit or promote anything, or use PakiBaat for commercial purposes.
- Pretend to be someone else, use someone else's photos, or create fake or misleading profiles.
- Share anyone's private information, conversations or photos without their consent.
- Use bots, scrapers or automated tools, or try to interfere with or break the service.
- Break any law, or encourage others to do so.
If someone breaks these rules, please block and report them from their profile or chat. Reports go privately to our safety team.
Your content
You own the photos, text and voice notes you add. You give PakiBaat a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that content to operate and improve the service, for as long as it remains on PakiBaat. You confirm you have the right to share it and that it follows these terms. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
What verification means
A verified badge means our team has reviewed a live selfie and found that it matches the person's profile photos. It is not a background check, identity-document check or guarantee of anyone's character or intentions. Always use your own judgement.
Meeting people safely
You are responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline. We do not run criminal background checks. Keep early conversations in the app, never send money to someone you met online, and meet for the first time in a public place after telling a friend or family member. Our safety center in the app has more guidance.
Family Connect
You decide whether to invite family members and what they can see. Invite only people who have agreed to take part, and remove them at any time. Invited family members must also follow these terms.
Free and paid features
PakiBaat is currently free to use. If we introduce paid memberships, we will show the price and features clearly before you buy. Purchases will be handled by Google Play or the App Store under their terms, and refunds will follow their policies and applicable law.
The app and updates
Download PakiBaat only from pakibaat.com or an official app store listing. Copies from anywhere else may be unsafe. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app. We may update PakiBaat to add features, fix problems or keep it secure, and some updates may be needed to keep using it.
Moderation and termination
To protect members, we may review reports, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law, or that put others at risk. Where appropriate we will tell you why. You can stop using PakiBaat and delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
We work hard to keep PakiBaat safe and available, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, or that you will find a match. To the extent the law allows, PakiBaat is not liable for the conduct of members or for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law. You agree to be responsible for claims that arise from your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in India.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using PakiBaat after that, the new terms apply. Questions? Email support@pakibaat.com.
